Trees of Healing Ministries, Inc. (TOH) is an international American based non-profit organization started in 2001 after the founder, Lynn Miller, took a mission’s journey to Tharaka District in Kenya. There she was touched by the destitute state of the people, especially the suffering of innocent women and children.Headquartered in Kentucky, TOH has a Board of Directors with 7 Board members and 29 employees, 26 being Kenya citizens.  TOH has qualified personnel with many years experience in NGO work as well as financial management. This guarantees proper and timely project implementation with the highest degree of accountability and timely completion of project reports. Services of a certified auditing firm may be used after a project is completed and reports will be submitted to donors upon request. TOH is listed with Dunn and Bradstreet and has a website at www.treesofhealing.org.

In 2005 the organization registered a branch ministry called Hand of God in Kenya and that ministry, run by Kenya citizens, is currently working in Meru Town and Tharaka District implementing various projects which include renovating and providing houses, food, clothing and schooling  for families with HIV/AIDS, street children and other destitute families; microfinancing small businesses; working with communities to supply clean, safe drinking water, and initiating projects that provide jobs for the local people.
